Salamat is the largest provider of hospital services in Tudun Wada which includes the delivery of primary care, a range of secondary level acute and complex continuing care to its broad catchment population. It is a Schedule 1 facility with a fifty bed inpatient unit that provides care for all of Tudun Wada as well as providing services for some bordering communities in Rigasa, Ayi, Badiko, Kasuwan Baci area. The Hospital also offers full-time community peadiatric outpatient/day care facilities.

Salamat Hospital and Maternity can be accessed from any part of Kaduna, it can be accessed from major center of the city center of Kaduna, Kano road and from Namdi Azikiwe road popular called bypass, where one can move from the main GTB along the bypass express road where the Matazu road ended, from one can get to the hospital as it will be displayed in the google earth map attached to the page, from Kano road if you join the bus or the popular keke Napep and inform the driver you will drop at Salamat hospital along Matazu road, you still get to the hospital.
